There about 200 known owl species and found on all regions of earth. A group of owls is called a parliament. Owls are nocturnal and mostly hunt insects, small mammals, other birds, and some hunt fish. In addition to being able to turn their head 270 degrees, owls are some of the quietest birds during flight, this allows them to be efficient hunters.
