I remember living in a home where we had a bunch of cute little snails wondering all over the lawn and in the garden area. There were quite a few, so one had to be careful not to accidentally step them. It was hard because they hide well and are difficult to see at times, they do this to avoid the sun, and predation.
Now someone has come up with a whacky idea of painting the snail shell in vivid colors to avoid stepping on them. Something tells me that is an awesome idea! Assuming, of course, that this is done to a small number.
