…well, this family seems to think so. They wrote the following about how they found the baby wombat.
“We found this orphaned little baby wombat girl on the farm. Unfortunately, we couldn’t offer her a care that she deserved, so the next day we took the little treasure to the Featherdale Wildlife Park. Actually, it was a very first time I held a wombat in my hands, and trust me, I couldn’t believe how quickly can one bond with, what is essentially a wild animal. Forget about cats, dogs, birds, forget even about koalas – this tiny bundle of fur must be the most gorgeous, cutest, sweetest animal alive. I hope she will grow big, strong and healthy, so if you are around Featherdale Park, say hello to little Bella – the wombat girl with a black dot inside her left ear”
