A tiny Japanese Chin puppy named Lulu was adopted into a household who had a Saint Bernard named Blizzard. As a puppy, Lulu found comfort lying on Blizzards back. She got so used Blizzards back that “when he stood up, she would jump around constantly to get on his back,” according to the owner. Saint Bernards have a reputation as being gentle giants and Blizzard is no exception. The owner adds, ‘‘Blizzard is the most laid back dog, he is tolerant of everything…, let’s just say Lulu wears the pants in the family, and Blizzard doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.’’
‘‘Never once has [Blizzard] growled at me and I can take a chicken bone out of his mouth with my mouth… Whereas Lulu is just the opposite, she always gets her way with Blizzard.’’
