Pawns for Hope received a called about a pup, named Jordan, who was brutalized and thrown 30 ft down into a water canal. When they arrived they found a poor dog who was too much in pain to even be able to move. To avoid the damp floor of the canal, the pup had managed to locate himself on top of a plastic bag.
When the got to him, they noticed that his right back leg had been cut off and that he was full of mange.
He was quickly transported to the vet. for examination and to be given medical treatment.
During day two, still at the vet awaiting for more medical treatment, surgery and blood transfusion.

Jordan, finally catches a break and is taken to a loving foster home. Here he is several days later.
Jordan starts getting comfortable around the house and begins making new friends.
Jordan grooming his foster sister, thanking her for all the support.
A few weeks later Jordan makes a full recovery, fur has grown back and is loves to go for a swim with the other dogs.
Or by himself. 🙂
